In short: AI Dance needs the photos and dance videos you select to generate a requested video. Those media files are uploaded for cloud processing. We do not sell your personal information or use your uploaded media for targeted advertising.
1. Scope and Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to the AI Dance mobile application (the “App”) and related support services operated by the developer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described here. This policy does not replace any notices provided by Apple or third-party services you choose to use.
| Information | Why it is processed | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Portrait photos and dance-reference videos you select | To check suitability, upload inputs, and generate the requested AI video | On your device and with cloud processing providers |
| Generated videos and task details | To deliver results, show generation status, and support retries | On your device and our service infrastructure |
| Purchase and subscription status | To unlock paid features, restore purchases, and prevent misuse | Apple and the App |
| App activity, device information, and identifiers | To measure App usage, marketing attribution, and service performance | Our systems and analytics and attribution providers |
| Diagnostics and support messages | To secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service | Our systems and relevant service providers |
2. Information We Process
Media and content you choose
When you create a video, the App processes the portrait photo, dance-template selection, and any short dance-reference video you choose to upload. These files may contain a face, body movement, voice, background details, or other personal information visible or audible in the media. Generated videos and related creation details are also processed so we can return and display your result.
The App may perform a suitability or safety check on an uploaded image before generation. The check is intended to detect whether the image contains a usable person or pet face and whether it appears unsafe. We do not use this process to identify who a person is, create a biometric identity profile, or authenticate identity.
Device permissions
The App may request access to your photo library or camera only when needed for a feature you choose. Apple controls these permissions. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings. If notifications are offered, you can also enable or disable them in device settings.
Technical and usage information
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
We and our analytics and attribution providers may process information such as App version, device and operating-system type, language, timestamps, App interaction and purchase events, generation task status, error and performance information, network information, IP address, and an installation or service identifier. Where permitted by your tracking choice, this may include Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). We use this information to operate, secure, diagnose, measure, and improve the App and to understand how users find it. We do not intentionally collect precise location through the App.
Purchases
Subscriptions and other in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We may receive transaction identifiers, product purchased, subscription status, and entitlement information, but we do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple handles payment information under Apple’s own privacy terms.
Support communications
If you contact us, we process your email address, message, attachments, and related correspondence. Please do not send passwords or information that is not needed to resolve your request.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide the App features you request, including upload, safety checks, AI video generation, previews, downloads, and retries.
- Maintain purchase entitlements and restore eligible purchases.
- Detect unsafe, fraudulent, abusive, or prohibited activity and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Maintain service reliability, investigate errors, and improve performance and usability.
- Measure App usage, subscription events, and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
- Answer support, privacy, deletion, and abuse-report requests.
- Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and resolve disputes.
We do not use your uploaded portrait or dance-reference media to train general-purpose AI models unless we first provide a separate notice and obtain consent where required.
4. When Information Is Shared
We disclose information only as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Cloud storage, hosting, and AI-generation providers. Media and task data are sent to providers that host files, run safety checks, or generate the requested video.
- Analytics and attribution providers. Limited technical data, App events, and permitted device or installation identifiers may be processed to measure App performance, acquisition, feature usage, subscription events, and campaign effectiveness.
- Operations and diagnostics providers. Limited technical data may be processed to help us maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the App.
- Apple. Apple processes App distribution, purchases, subscription management, and certain device-level services.
- Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or others, investigate misuse, or establish and defend legal claims.
- Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or use uploaded portrait or dance-reference media for targeted advertising. Limited App event and identifier data may be shared with analytics and attribution providers for measurement, subject to applicable permissions. We require providers that receive personal information to provide the same or an equivalent level of protection described in this policy and required by applicable law.
5. Analytics, Attribution, and Tracking
The App uses analytics and attribution tools to measure performance and understand how the App is discovered and used. Where required by Apple or applicable law, access to tracking identifiers such as IDFA depends on your permission choices. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
6. Retention and Deletion
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain security and reliability, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded media, generation inputs, outputs, and task records may be retained temporarily on service infrastructure so a generation can be completed, delivered, or retried. Retention can vary based on task status, support needs, backup cycles, and legal requirements.
Technical logs, analytics and attribution event data, and diagnostics may be retained as needed for service operations, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and App improvement.
Content saved to your device remains under your control. Deleting the App generally removes data in the App’s local container, but offloading the App may preserve local documents and data. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription, delete files you exported, remove Apple’s transaction records, or erase media that is still within a cloud processing or backup retention period.
To request deletion of personal information we control, email scriptureapp@outlook.com with “AI Dance Privacy Request” in the subject. We may ask for information needed to verify the request.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding personal information, and to withdraw consent or appeal a decision. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
- Manage photo, camera, notification, and tracking permissions in iOS Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Delete creations and local media using available App or device controls.
- Contact us to submit a privacy request or report content misuse.
8. International Processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and apply protections consistent with this policy and applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Do not upload a child’s image unless you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, have all necessary rights and consents, and the use is lawful and appropriate. If you believe a child’s information was submitted improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the App, law, or our practices. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “last updated” date. Additional notice will be provided where required.
